More than 700 scholarships are given each year, making our scholarship
program one of the largest of all community colleges in California. Students are
required to only fill out one application and the scholarship committee will
match you with the appropriate scholarship, if you are eligible. |

Scholarship Workshops |
Scholarship Awards will be for the Fall 2009 - Spring 2010 School Year and the awards reception will be held May 27, 2009 at PCC Quad. If you applied for a scholarship in Fall 2008, award letters will be sent out Mid May.

2nd Annual Academic Business Scholarship
Applications Due April 1st, 2010
|
This $1,000 scholarship is for students who are pursuing business related academic degrees. Applicants are reviewed by our selection committee and a top applicant is chosen after the April 1st, 2010 deadline. This opportunity is for both two and four year college programs.

The Home Depot Trade Scholarship Program

The Home Depot® established its first-ever Trade Scholarship Program. Through the program, the Company will award more than 600 students enrolled in building and construction trade programs $500 to help offset the cost of tuition, fees, books and supplies. In total, more than $300,000 in scholarships will be awarded to support the future leaders of the building and construction industries. The Home Depot Trade Scholarship Program is open to students nationwide currently enrolled in a building and construction trade school program at a college, university or accredited educational institution who will be entering into the final year or term of their degree or career program. Minimum Student Requirements (High School Students):
- Be an undocumented immigrant student
- Have at least a 2.5 grade point average
- Be attending a high school in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD)
- Be available for future participation in Futuros College Access Mentoring Program (CAMP)
- Demonstrate financial need

The AICPA is pleased to offer several academic scholarships
for students interested in accounting and business:
|
AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship - a joint program with Accountemps, awarding five $2,500 scholarships to students pursuing a degree in accounting, finance or information systems.
John L. Carey Scholarship - $5,000 scholarships for a
minimum of 10 liberal arts or other non-business related
degree holders preparing to enter a graduate accounting program.
AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students -
financial awards of up to $5,000 for undergraduate and graduate minority accounting students.
AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students - up to
$12,000 for nearly 20 full-time minority doctoral students
to increase the number of accounting educators who are also
CPAs.
